Cheap Suncast TWM200 Hosehandler 225-Foot Wall-Mount Hose Reel Review
I bought this unit to replace Ames, which suddenly fell off the wall. I still do not know why, but the sides were torn, as if some giant tore them apart. There is no indication if it is hit by something, and vandalism certainly choose another destination, I think.
Back to Suncast. First, take some time to decide how you want to move compared to the hose bib, which supply it. It is designed to be fed to the left, which does not work for me. But you can set up the unit ininverted, so that the supply of the right side. The hose reel will be incorporated into the lower side of the spindle, but on the top, but it works OK. Also, the crank on the left then, but if left-handed, you may want to crank on the left side anyway. Finally, make sure that the spindles are not too close or too far away from the tube brace, so the supply hose does not kink. The right-angle adapter or the spindle, or the bib would give more flexibility in mounting location.
So far it has worked well in almost 4 days, so I can not even comment on its durability. This does not seem weak compared to (more expensive) units of Ames, a rugged appearance but did not help that one of the many. The Reel 2.0, I would suggest that Suncast that a) a two-handed, b) that the mounting is available, this may be as retightenedthey loosen over time, and c) the service of right-angle adapter inlet.
